Description of works: Refurbishment of the Officer's Mess at Wellesley Barracks. Originally built for the Duke of Wellington's Regiment in the 18th century, the works included the modernisation to the internal layout for use as an eductional establishment to include the introduction of a passenger lift. A sprinkler system required special treatment being pumped from specially installed onsight reservoir due to a lack of local water pressure.
