Brew House, Brodsworth

brew house
The Brew House in Brodsworth near Doncaster is a Grade II listed building. The house was built in 1797 to brew ales for the Brodsworth Hall estate and a local hostelry the "Boot & Slipper". The original Hall was rebuilt in the 19th century and the Brew House was converted into a laundry at a princely sum of £86-13s-6d for carpentry works. This included accommodation in the attic for a laundress and two maids. Our works which began in January 2011have now completed and converted the old building into two luxury dwellings. The patina of the exterior of the building had to retained and existing internal features were refurbished and retained to produce an enviable living space.
